We have been teaching studies which are unique to the school for more than a decade. These are divided in four different qualifications. During this time we have expanded, updated and improved every aspect of modules and techniques development.

Qualifications are specifically designed so that the education of the students plays a key role in their development as designers, creative goldsmiths…

The possibility of studying in-person or of doing blended learning is one of the great advantages of our qualifications since you can distribute your classes in the way that fits best your habitual schedule.

Handcrafted and artistic jewelry degree

Among the knowledge and skills that students will acquire by the end of the degree, we highlight the following:

- Theoretical and practical knowledge of every tool to make pieces of jewelry.
- Training on the making of different types of jewels: rings, earrings, pendants…
- Sanding, polishing and finishes techniques.

Students will have the required materials at their disposal in order to carry out all the exercises during the course:

- Individual desk and lamp. Pliers, files, hammer, sandpaper, gage...
- Common materials in workshops: laminators, draw bench, polishing machine, rhodium plating equipment, flat stones…
-Specific documentation on the course at the students’ disposal.
-Library, video library specialization for the course.

The course can be taken:
- In-person: weekly, from 2 to 10 hours a week.
-Intensive: one week a month (40 hours Monday to Friday, 8 daily hours = 40 hours a month).
The intensive option is more demanded; if you wish to take it, you should decide as soon as possible.
- Students who successfully complete the course will obtain a certificate diploma acknowledging the hours they have taken.

Students will have at their disposal a 30 or 60 square-meter-workshop with light and natural ventilation. There will also be audiovisual rooms, theoretical-practical rooms or others depending on the work the students will perform.

-The course lasts 2 academic years. From September until July.
-Preregistration open all year with the possibility of joining in at any time during the course.
-Since this is a course organized by the School which lasts 40 hours a month, students can organize their schedule according to their priorities, taking a minimum of 2 hours a week up to the 10 hours a week that the school offers. In order to successfully complete the first year, students must take 440 hours and another 440 in the second year if they wish to complete the handcrafted and artistic jewelry degree of the School.

Comprehensive training jewelry degree

Among the knowledge and skills that students will acquire by the end of the design module, we highlight the following:

- Theoretical and practical knowledge on design and illustration of jewels to carry out the projects they are asked to do.
- Practical exercises about real and current projects.
- Knowledge on ergonomics in jewelry, costume jewelry and accessories.

Among the knowledge and skills that students will acquire by the end of the setting module, we highlight the following:

- Theoretical and practical knowledge of every tool to make gem settings or artistic engravings.
- Practical training on the making of different existing types of gem settings and jewel engravings to develop their professional skills.
- Project development with ancient gem setting and artistic engraving techniques

Among the knowledge and skills that students will acquire by the end of the jewelry module, we highlight the following:

- Theoretical and practical knowledge of every tool to make pieces of jewelry.
-Training on the making of different types of jewels: rings, earrings, pendants…
- Sanding, polishing and finishes techniques.

Students will have the required materials at their disposal in order to carry out all the exercises during the course:

-Individual jeweler’s desk and lamp. Burins, sealing, pliers, files, hammer, tweezers, sandpapers, gage, copper, brass, silver…
-Common materials in workshops: polisher…
-Specific documentation on the course at the students’ disposal.
-Library, video library specialization for the course.

The course can be taken:
- In-person: 20 hours a week or intensive: 15 days a month.
- Students who successfully complete the course will obtain a certificate diploma of the course acknowledging the hours they have taken.

Students will have at their disposal a 30 or 80 square-meter-classroom with light and natural ventilation. There will also be audiovisual rooms, workshops, theoretical-practical rooms or others depending on the work the students will perform.

-The course lasts 3 academic years. From September until July.
-Preregistration open all year with the possibility of joining in at any time during the course. Individualized attention.
-This professional course organized by the School lasts 80 hours a month. Students have to attend every working day of the week; they will be taught theoretical concepts and practical skills which they will later develop.
-In order to successfully complete the comprehensive training jewelry course, students must pass the jewelry, setting and design modules, thus obtaining the Certificate Diploma of this degree which is unique to the Jewelry School of the Atlantic.

Course on gem-setting and artistic engraving

Among the knowledge and skills that students will acquire by the end of the course, we highlight the following:

- Theoretical and practical knowledge of every tool to make gem settings or artistic engravings.
- Practical training on the making of different existing types of gem settings and jewel engravings to develop their professional skills.
- Project development with ancient gem setting and artistic engraving techniques.

- Individual desk and lamp. Pencils, markers, paintbrushes, vegetable paper, watercolor paper, acrylics, templates…
-Common elements: desk with light, computers with wifi access.
-Specific documentation on the course at the students’ disposal.
-Library, video library specialization for the course.

The course can be taken:

-In-person: weekly, from 2 up to 6 hours a week or intensive: 3 days a month (24 hours from Monday to Wednesday, 8 hours a day = 24 hours a month). This one is more demanded, so if you wish to take it, you should decide as soon as possible.
-Students who successfully complete the course will obtain a certificate Diploma of the course acknowledging the hours they have taken.

Students will have at their disposal a 30 or 60 square-meter-workshop with light and natural ventilation. There will also be audiovisual rooms, theoretical-practical rooms or others depending on the work the students will perform.

-The course lasts 2 academic years. From September until July.
-Preregistration open all year with the possibility of joining in at any time during the course. Individualized attention.
-Since this is a course organized by the school which lasts 24 hours a month, students can organize their schedule according to their priorities, taking a minimum of 2 hours a week up to the 6 hours a week that the school offers. In order to successfully complete the first year, students must take 264 hours and another 264 in the second year if they wish to complete the course on gem setting and artistic engraving of the school and obtain the certificate Diploma.

Course on design and illustration of jewels

- Knowledge on ergonomics in jewelry, costume jewelry and accessories.

Students will have the required materials at their disposal in order to carry out all the exercises during the course:

- Individual desk and lamp. Pencils, markers, paintbrushes, vegetable paper, watercolor paper, acrylics, templates,…

The course can be taken:
-In-person: 4 hours a week or intensive: 15 days a month.
-Students who successfully complete the course will obtain a certificate Diploma of the course acknowledging the hours they have taken.

Students will have at their disposal a 30 square-meter-classroom and/or an 80 square-meter classroom with light and natural ventilation.

-The course lasts 2 academic years. From September until July.
-Preregistration open all year. Individualized attention.
- This professional course organized by the school lasts 16 hours a month. Students have to attend one or two working days of the week; they will be taught theoretical knowledge and practical skills which they will later develop.
-In order to successfully complete the Course on design of jewels, students must pass the modules of the Design Course, thus obtaining the Certificate Diploma unique to the Technical Jewelry School of the Atlantic. .
