Our Philosophy

A precious diamond

We have been doing our best for more than a decade with just one goal in mind: help every student shine like a precious diamond. We got started in 2001, with 300 square-meter facilities.

We are currently located in an educational complex of 650 square meters of classrooms and workshops, 190 square meters of multi functional area and 290 square meters of open spaces and courtyards. In all these years we have taught more than 600 students from 20 countries

European, American, African and Asian students have studied in our classrooms and workshops.
This has had a positive impact in our school, creating an optimal multicultural environment for creation, design and learning.

FROM THE EARLY GRADUATES UNTIL THE LATEST GENERATIONS OF STUDENTS, THEY MAKE US PROUD BY CREATING OUR STORY EVERY DAY

We open our first school in downtown Vigo.

We are granted official recognition by the Ministry of Education. Opening of our school in a distinctive building in Vigo

FEELING A PROFESSIONAL JEWELER FROM THE FIRST TIME YOU SET FOOT IN OUR SCHOOL, ABSORBING KNOWLEDGE AND ENHANCING SKILLS

Materials and tools

We have always wanted our students to have everything at their disposal; that is why we have the required tools and machinery and a spacious library where they can make consultations, so students can get any tool or material they need.

Visits and experiences

Is is crucial that students get to know, live with, experiment and look closely at the real world of design, art and jewelry in direct coexistence with the business environment and the current trends.
For this reason, we plan field trips to companies, museums, exhibitions and fairs, in which all students actively participate.

Encouragement and participation

From the beginning of their training, students will take part in all the school’s collective exhibitions. Thus, they will be able to display their designs at museums, exhibition rooms and art galleries of the sector. Similarly, the School of the Atlantic encourages and facilitates the participation of all students in national and international contests of the sector.
