Learn to develop, represent, and communicate your own jewellery ideas by combining creativity, drawing, and technical knowledge.

Our jewellery design and illustration course is a specialised training programme to learn how to transform an idea into a jewellery project and represent it in a clear, attractive, and technically viable way.

Over two years, you will develop the necessary tools to design and illustrate pieces, working on drawing, colour, materials, and the representation of different jewellery proposals.

A training programme that combines creativity and technical knowledge to help you develop your own language and learn to communicate your designs visually before taking them to the workshop.

Subjects

Among the skills that students will acquire upon completion of the design module, we highlight:

Theoretical and practical knowledge of jewellery design and illustration to carry out the projects requested.
Practical exercises based on real and current projects.
Knowledge of ergonomics in jewellery, costume jewellery, and accessories.

Modality

The course can be taken in two formats:

The first is in-person, 4 hours per week, and the second is the intensive format, 15 days per month.
Students who successfully complete the course will obtain a Diploma of Achievement stating the hours completed.

Facilities

The student will have access to a 30-square-metre classroom and/or another 80-square-metre room with natural light and ventilation.

Duration

The course comprises 2 academic years, from September to July.

This professional course is organised by the school with a duration of 16 hours per month; the student must attend one or two working days a week, where they will be provided with theoretical and practical knowledge to be developed subsequently.

To successfully complete the Jewellery Design Course, the student must pass the modules that comprise the design course over the two years to obtain the Diploma of Achievement from the Escuela Técnica de Joyería del Atlántico.
